I’ve been reading very slowly since the new year and wanted something compelling. This did it. It was pretty gruesome and graphic in a way I don’t think I’ve seen in thrillers recently, but it made things seem more real, even if it was harsh at times. Even as pieces started to come together, there were some great twists up to the very end.
