My girls loved science so much when they were little. The why stage was my favorite because they had such curious minds and were always researching something. My youngest spent a good 6 months "researching the back yard for dinosaur fossils ". This book followed a little girl with that kind of mind. That wonderful, beautiful, frustrating mind. It was a walk down memory lane. I loved this book. Plus not only is the scientist a girl, she is a black girl. We need more books like this where every child can see themself as a scientist.
