This is the author’s first book, and I had already read the second book (The Awesome Girl’s Guide to Dating Extraordinary Men) before realizing they were interconnected. The other book hinted that the Farrells were terrors back in the day, and here I got to see them at their worst and received a proper introduction to Davidia ‘Davie’ and a few familiar names/scenarios. I highly recommend reading it out of order like I did, because it made this book feel like a bomb ass prequel. This glow up story felt like a combination of Sixteen Candles & ABC’s Revenge. The writing was phenomenal and the ending was everything!
