Aquaculture Affair by Delaney Rain
5.0
Ahhhh I loved this just as much as I thought I would! I'm so, so glad Delaney Rain is returning to the world of their very first book and giving us sequels with the kiddos all grown up!
Dean, our older male MC, is protective and sweet and strong. Larkin, our younger MC, has been in love with Dean since he first understood was crushes and attraction was. He's hoping desperately that the older man will see him as a potential love interest instead of the kid of his best friend. Mo, who is half human and half caecalia, is rescued by Dean and Larkin and their friends and is nursed back to health. And he's such a sweetie.
So many great moments - Larkin and Dean's friends, Larkin's Dad finding out, the three of them learning about each other and experiencing so many great firsts together. I love that Delaney can make her monsters so sweet and heartwarming, while still being a bit kinky and fun monsters.
I definitely recommend reading the first book, The Sea Monster's Mate, and then definitely check this author's backlist out! And I know there is a third book planned, I can't wait for it!
