Middle-aged love story

Kat and Ector are two older folks on an adventure. Kat is a widow, and grandmother gets escorted by the green elder Kraken Ector, and holy moly, their romance was fantastic. The parts where your heart drops in your stomach for fear during their adventure mishaps are well written.
