First book of the year and already a favorite!

Highly recommended if you like atmospheric gothic books with mythology references.

edit: that being said, I was bothered by Effie's view of Argant and how she never addressed her prejudice (she says to Preston she's sorry for what she said about him when they met but it seemed a bit like 'she's in love now so it's ok'... meh :/
