Be Mine Forever by Kennedy Ryan
5.0
I felt so much for Cam in books 1 and 2 of The Bennett Series and was ecstatic to know Cam got his own story in this book. Cameron Mitchell has been through so much more than any one person should. But, he's risen from the ashes of his childhood and traumatic past. Even though he married Kerris and may have loved her, he wasn't IN love with her. Their similar upbringing brought them together. Jo Walsh has been half in love with Cam since she knew what love was. It did something to her to watch Cam be married to Kerris and the events that followed. Underneath it all, Jo and Cam had mutual attraction for one another. It was not an easy road for Jo and Cam to traverse, but I was glad to see they got the HEA they both deserved! This series may have been the author's first, but it is no less emotionally charged that what she has written after.
