Top flight Tintin! The story is relatively straightforward, but it's solid. It flows and moves along nicely. The artwork is the best it's been since The Blue Lotus. This one brims over with the fun and charm that makes me a lifelong fan of Tintin, despite the canon's problematic aspects (which, I might add, are mercifully absent here).
Moderate: Animal cruelty
Snowy is physically disciplined by Tintin at least once (played for laughs). Cruelty towards the gorilla in the castle is heavily implied.
