Very different as the movie. I think except for the names nothing is like in the movie? But, I still like it very much. Yes, it's a book for children but hey, it has Dragons in it! :)

I like that it is shown that just because you are a small, clever kid doesn't mean you can't be a hero. :) And of course, there are Dragons. I love that Hiccup has a very small one here which is kind of selfish and lazy but still helps Hiccup when it counts.

Wonderful book for kids.
