Nice wholesome book. I thought the characters' voices were good. Since it's a series of letters, it could have easily come off as very obvious characterisation and too explainy but you could really get an idea of the characters based on how they wrote and what they wrote about without it being too obvious which was nice. My main thing was just that it had little plot and there weren't enough vibes and a sole focus on the characters and their relationships for it to be enough, like how it was with the Housekeeper and the Professor. Also though Juliet and Dawsey were too obvious and there was no build up/solid basis of their relationship to me.
