Reading the Play by V.L. Locey

4.0

This story starts off as an enemies to lovers, although, only one of them knows the reason for the dislike and it takes a while before we find out. It turns out to be a misunderstanding. This is all they need to move on and become friends. However, they both feel things for each other and can't hold themselves back. These are AHL players, which made them more relatable, more down to earth. These two seemed mature beyond their years and they took their new relationship seriously from the start. The intimacy was a bit glossed over, I think deeper scenes would have given the reader a better feeling of their chemistry. Overall a good varied story complimenting the rest of the series. I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.
