Camp Slaughter by Sergio Gomez

Okay so this book is like all the stereotypes of the horror genre. It takes all the tropes and throws them into one story. It is also incredibly gory. A group of teens rent a cabin and then are attacked by a "masked" man. It's a lot. The story in my honest opinion wasn't amazing. It was funny to see how many tropes we could toss into one story. It was really unnecessarily long and drawn out in my opinion. It had a kind of open ending and I honestly have no desire to see how it ends. I really can't give you more of a review... I mean if you enjoy super gory death scenes (not that I hate them, but all the writing just made me think of the word squelch which I can't stand), cannibalism, Leatherface, kidnapping, and mutilation... It's a story that has all of those things. It's really like Hannibal meets Jason meets Leatherface.
