Disney High: The Untold Story of the Rise and Fall of Disney Channel's Tween Empire by Ashley Spencer
5.0
What I loved the most about Disney High, beyond learning new information, was it's formatting. You can literally jump between chapters to the Disney stars or shows you loved the most and just focus there or you can read cover to cover. I was excited to see Bug Juice mentioned; it was an obsession for me as a teen and I was sad to see it cancelled. I also liked how raw and honest Ashley Spencer went into some of the pitfalls of Disney stardom while also explaining why some seem to escape the pitfalls more than others---I didn't know Hillary Duff's parents background, while we all know about the messy relationship between Dina and Lindsey Lohan.
