Damn you, Sanderson!

You have ruined the Mistborn trilogy!

At least for me. Because... I can never experience the other books in the same way ever again! This final book (for "era one" at least, let's not ever actually close any doors) completely changes the landscape. I can never un-see what I have seen, un-learn what I have learned, and I am simulaneously the richer and poorer for it.

Every part of the earlier books that I thought was awkward, or didn't earn its place... All I can say is: Mind. Blown.

You built this, Sanderson. You built it, and then you blew it all up.

Damn you straight to hell.
