Tears of Astoria by J.B. Wright

5.0

This book has officially claimed the title of my favorite read for this month. The love I have for this story and how badly I want to carry on. Aislinn has to be one of the most likeable and relatable characters. I thought the magic system was really neat and I liked the way the powers weaken as the lineage grows. Quite a few of the things we learn along the way while reading made my jaw drop, I thought they were such good plots twists and I was eager to see how it was all going to unfold.

If you like the idea of a girl being born of nobility falls for a boy that works as a serving boy for the family of the boy you have been arranged to be married to your whole life and the life that you were raised into burns down and you are basically on the run and you discover a secret place and learn the stories you heard about gods may or may not be true. You might like this book...a lot..
