Now, I have seen the movie many times before and it is one of my favorite creepy movies to watch but the book was even better. Neil Gaiman’s writing is very easy to read and get lost in, and while it is a shorter book, it almost felt like nothing to get through.

Somehow the book was even creepier than the movie (which I didn’t think was possible) and you just kept rooting for Coraline through the last few chapters.

Gaiman sets up a wonderful world in a very short period of time and tells an effective and beautiful story of bravery and perseverance. Great book!
