Marjorie Liu is tasked with telling a momentous time in comics history and unfortunately drops the ball. The story is disjointed and uninspired. There was no real drama and the mystery was lame and unanswered. The art by Mike Perkins, normally top notch, was very off here. His characters all had ugly faces and the colors were washed out. It was bizarre. Overall, a disappointment.
