DNF @ page 143. 

I thought I was in the mood for historical romance. 

But it was more plot driven than I anticipated (which is on me for making that assumption) and it wasn’t a slow burn which I treasure. 

So while I thought I was in the mood for historical romance, I actually wasn’t. 

Which leaves us here, with yet another DNF of the year for me.
