The Pumpkin Spice Café by Laurie Gilmore
2.0
I was so looking forward to this book, but unfortunately I was disappointed...
It's more like a Hallmark story: She, Sunshine, comes from the big city. He, the grumpy flannel guy, from the small town who got his heart broken.
I could live with any cliché, but the childish behaviour of the two, coupled with Spice, was confusing and annoying.
The characters also had no development or depth of personality.
Instead, I really liked the atmosphere and it reminded me of Stars Hollow, of course.
Cosy Autumn Story, but it didn't live up to its potential.
2,5/5 ⭐
