Why Will No One Play With Me?: Coach your child to overcome social anxiety, peer rejection and bullying - and thrive by Caroline Maguire

This book is not at all neurodiversity-affirming. In fact, I'd argue the author is writing pretty much exclusively to a neurodivergent audience, whether she realizes that or not. I did not appreciate the lack of tolerance for any other than a neurotypical style of communication.

Despite my personal feelings, I believe it delivers on its promise. There are many valuable social techniques in this book, scaffolded appropriately with beginners in mind. Realistically, these skills are still necessary for getting the most out of life.
