I absolutely fell in love with this book and its characters. Curmudgeonly A.J. Fikry is mourning his wife and running a bookstore on a tiny island with his specific eclectic tastes and love for short stories. When wakes up from a drunken stupor to the revelation that his prized possession has disappeared and a surprise awaiting him in the bookstore, everything starts to shift.

This was heartwarming and emotional. I didn't expect to love this so much, but I enjoyed every word and was in tears by the end.
