This short story is somewhat of a teaser that leaves me with unfulfilled expectations about a romance. There’s a spark of chemistry between the characters but it ends so abruptly. This is my first time reading an Abby Jimenez book and this failed to impress me. 

I love animals so it was good to read about a man caring for them on a farm. A pig named Kevin Bacon is too cute. 

For Abby’s biggest fans, this short story will intrigue them. For me, I needed more. This felt like a micro short story.
