September Ends by Hunter S. Jones, An Anonymous English Poet

This book was bizarre. It wasn’t outright terrible but it all seemed so forced and unrealistic. The characters were one dimensional and not very believable. The dialogue was forced and weird. I think I said to my myself “what the hell is happening” at least a dozen times. The story line was all over the place and I couldn’t keep up with it.
I’m not really a poetry aficionado either so maybe that impacted my opinion of this book. Overall I wasn’t a fan, I ended up skimming through most of it and I’m trying to figure out how it has so many 5 star reviews.
