The Hundred Thousand Kingdoms by N.K. Jemisin

5.0

I'm wavering between 4.5 and 5 stars, mostly because there were a few things that went on that were a tad unsettling (was it incest? like kinda? but also... idk?).
However, I absolutely loved the world and the characters that Jemisin brought to life here.
I'd like to know if anyone has read the entire trilogy and their thoughts? Looking at the synopses for the next books, it seems more like a companion series, and (at least at the moment) I really want to keep following these characters. Maybe after a bit of time away from the book I'll be able to pick up the next and read new characters without being spiteful.
