the witch doesn't burn in this one by Amanda Lovelace

4.0

i read the first collection last year, after getting into this style of poetry with rupi kaur's 'milk and honey'. being a big lover of fairytales, i was drawn into amanda lovelace's books and when seeing the second one had come out immediately bought it. i didn't finish 'the witch doesn't burn in this one' as quickly as i finished 'the princess saves herself in this one' - i guess i love princesses more but i enjoyed them both equally and found multiple poems that just made me put the book down and go into a 'w o w' state. i would highly recommend it.
