this series is going to be the death of me 🥵 I love a good dark mafia style romance and I ABSOLUTELY LOVE disney and fairytale retellings … so the fact that this story combines them both had me SCREAMING!

the subtleness that emily wrote from the original peter pan story into this modern day mafia romance was PERFECT!! the lil name changes and references had me grinning throughout the entire story 💫

wendy was the perfect modern day wendy - innocent young adult with a mind for adventure. and JAMES. wooo boy can we talk about james? 🥵🥵🥵

I cannot believe I’ve been so long without reading about my dear hook. he is the perfect mix between bad boy and grumpy smush. he should be my book boyfriend (because y’all know I can’t resist a good villain) but SINCE HE’S NOT, wendy and him are perfect I cry

I also wasn’t expecting to freaking cry my eyes out at the ending what the heck!! 

I’m immediately starting the next in this series thank you 🫠🤌🏼
