I've just spent 3 days living in the life of Nala's beautiful family and getting to know her life and community. I really liked it.

Love is a Revolution is all about discovering who you are at your core and learning to love yourself first before you can fully love anyone else.
Nala has a crush on Tye, however he's a bit of a polar opposite to her. He's an activist, she's not so much. He's pescetarien, she loves meat. In order to get him to like, she makes up a couple of lies that get harder and harder to keep up.

I feel like this plot had a great message and you grew with Nala. Sometimes we love the people around us a lot and forget to love ourselves back.

The characters were amazing. They were all full of energy and love and passion. Even though there was a lot of tension, in the end everyone loved one another. I felt so welcome in their web because it felt like being part of one big and loving family.

I can recommend this book to everyone. It's a great and really fast read with a deep message and lots of memorable quotes. The only reason why it's not 5 Stars is because I didn't feel as emotionally invested as compared to other books.
