The writing was brilliant! Woolf really has her own unique voice and stream of conscioussness way of writing which I love. I particularly liked the insights to all the characters and their relationships with each other. It felt very human and natural in a way where I felt like the characters were voicing my ideas. I think it does realism very well, and instead romanticises life with its flaws instead of pretending that everything was perfect. I personally liked the first half better than the second and third although I liked the idea of places holding memories that was explored in the second.
'She waited a moment longer in a scene which was vanishing even as she looked... it changed, it shaped itself differently, it had become... already the past.'
