I didn't like the sypnosis. I don't like islands as settings. But it was Mary Calmes so I decided to try it, as I always do when it comes to her. AND GAHHHH it's so good. There's just something about the way she writes. I love how she builds up the main characters, it took 30% in on the book before we actually met the love interest but I found myself enjoying it still.
