I, Strahd: The Memoirs of a Vampire by P.N. Elrod

4.0

I really enjoyed this, more than I thought I would. I dock a star because, without giving too much away, his shift from big bad authoritative figure to lovesick tyrant seemed a bit too plot convenient… I don’t know if it fits him as a character but I let it slide because this was an otherwise enjoyable book, and the first one I’ve been able to finish in months. I do recommend it, especially if you’re into the Ravenloft/D&D scene. I knew basics about the Curse of Strahd campaign before, and getting background on his character makes me want to revisit the whole adventure.
