His Last Christmas in London by Con Riley

Such a gorgeous seasonal story by the eloquent Con Riley.
Con writes so poetically that you are lulled into the story and just kind of float through it. Both Ian and Guy are such compelling and sweet guys.
Ian is in a terrible place when he meets Guy. His ex is as toxic as they come and who has made him question staying in London. Guy is a restaurant critic and Ian assumes he must be arrogant if he makes a living making or breaking restaurants. And he’s had enough of such men.
Except when Guy doesn’t live up to who Ian believes he is, he might just be in trouble of losing his heart as well as London.
Guy is endlessly patient but willing to snark back and give as good as he gets from the fiery Ian. He has his own heartache that needs mending.
I love how they soother each other, but also revel in just making the other smile or laugh. This story felt both magical and real and it was a perfect combination, with the most wonderful ending.
