HOLY SHIT THIS WAS AMAZING. I finished it in one sitting and it took me a little over 6 hours, that's how much I enjoyed it. I can't put into words the emotions I felt reading heated rivalry, it was so beautiful and the relationship between Shane and Ilya was so well written and properly fleshed out. It completely draws you into their story...I don't think I'll get over them ever.

I was sceptical about this cause it's pretty popular on booktok and those never work out well for me but this was a worthy risk, it's one of my favorite reads this year and I definitely see myself rereading it.

It's also important to note that this is not an enemies to lovers slowburn lol, it's more rivals to lovers. I also was not the biggest fan of the repetitive sex scenes, it was just too much imo but their banter and conversations were very cute.
