Second First Impressions by Sally Thorne
4.0
I enjoyed this a lot, and it's possible the reason I enjoyed it so much is because I have been hating and DNFing lot of contemporary romances lately. While I'm not found of the buttoned-up girl meets "bad" boy trope, I was mostly okay with how it worked out in this book., mostly because the "bad" there definitely deserves its quotes. He's not really bad-just really easy going. They both had some growing up to do, and I don't think it's a dangerous or terrible concept to show how it is possible for two individuals to do that in parallel while also working on a relationship. I very much loved all the secondary characters, and that is why this was a 4 star read for my. The romance alone probably would have made it a 3.
