The Pink Lantern by Adora Crooks

4.0

I thought this book was absolutely well written. This is actually a spin off series from The Bully's Dare, which I personally don't believe you have to read to understand the characters but it's completely up to you.

The story follows three individuals who truthfully all end up being on the queer spectrum in such a beautiful way. We have extra who is a typical male who we see come to terms with his sexuality by the end of the story. Then we have Nell, our most beautiful written out she/they representation I've seen ever. Then on to our main character Joan. She honestly felt like such a real person to follow around in the story.

The way that her emotions were written on the page, can absolutely be felt through the screen. We follow her as well as she comes to terms with her whole sexuality and figuring out how she wants her whole relationship and being to be labeled.

I thought this was a really good Why Choose, polygamous story for 2024 🫶🏼
