Silver-Tongued Devil by Jaye Wells

4.0

Sabrina has sister issues. Her sister tried to kill her boyfriend, which makes family time uncomfortable to say the least. She wants to fix her broken sister, to have the love she has always dreamed of, and it shows. Her desperation in this book seems endless. Her sister is not dreaming, being the oracle it is required on more than one level. The Dark Races are on the verge of signing a peace treaty and her vision could make or break it. But, can anyone bring her back to who she was?
The relationship between Sabrina and Adam has some rough ugly spots. It stems from lies and hidden truths. There is a touch of a triangle going on and I was voting for the other team. Adam disappointed me with his harsh views.
Giguhl was a hero and a friend. He stood by Pussy Willow and Sabrina throughout all the troubles, and their were many, He also found a new hobby roller derby, supernatural style. This didn't really work well in the story for me. It slowed the story down and was not very interesting. Ah, but Mr. Giggles is the hero of this story in my humble opinion. Just wait for the ending.
I enjoyed the story, but struggled through the first half. It just meandered through her daily life and did not hold my attention well. The next book is the end of the series and might be the reason for the slow down, it's ending. It does finish with a bit of a cliffhanger. I am excited to read the next book and finish this series .
