Always Mine by T. Ashleigh

Another beautiful story from this author. I love how she writes these types of stories, where the characters not only have to solve problems, but through it, they learn about themselves and the mistakes they may have made, and with this, they can live a fuller life. .
In this story we have Paxton and Wyatt, who grew up together as best friends and whose relationship changed in their adolescence. But despite their deep connection and the fact that they loved each other deeply, with the passage from adolescence to adulthood come changes. They were still very young and of course, they could make bad choices, even if at that time they didn't realize it. For Paxton, this meant that in order to pursue one of his dreams, he had to move away from the other he was building with Wyatt. He just didn't see a way to have it all and therefore, he decided to end their relationship. He left behind a Wyatt who had a hard time recovering from that blow, and who after 3 years, still suffers from that loss.
But because of those things in life, Paxton must return to his town. Time and distance were not easy for him either, although the busy life he leads allowed him to better compartmentalize his feelings and hide them even from himself. But deep down, he knows what he feels, he knows that he misses Wyatt, he knows that he still loves him and that walking away was a big mistake, but he's afraid that it's too late to get him back.
Paxton realizes that the only way to fix what he broke is to face the mistakes he made, face the consequences and show that during the time they were apart, the deep bond between them may have been hurt, but it was not broken, and that the The love they still feel is still there, intact.
As I said, it is a beautiful story, with a little bit of anguish, some romantic gestures, and also some hot moments.
I was given an advanced copy and voluntarily wrote a review.
