1.5 I guess? This book marries two very different interests of mine — polar stories and romance novels — and was it worth it? No. Even if I overlook the suspension of disbelief required to read about sexytimes while running (on foot) across Antarctica (during a storm, no less) while being chased by baddies, the second half was boring and the ending was a cop-out to make people read the next book.
