This could be another book jumping on the whole TWILIGHT thing, but it does stand on its own with orginiality. Of course we have the whole female who needs rescusing and will it be a human or the fairy. We have a conflict between good and evil. We have the whole must hide from parents thing and threats everywhere. What makes it work, is the descriptive world of fairies, the tight writing and the ability to twist things and make it work.
