The Gone-Away World by Nick Harkaway
2.0
Overall an entertaining book built around incredibly unique central concept. That is it though really. It felt like the book suffered greatly in structure as well as character development, because it could not have maintained it's central twist/reveal if written otherwise.
Non-linear plots can add incredible value to a book if well done, but this just was not the right book for that kind of structure. It was an entertaining read at least, but that doesn't make it good.
