With Pippa's books you kinda have to read in order and have a good memory and I kinda suck at doing both of those things. I do love that she ties in so many characters and little quips and inside jokes, but the rate at which I read books means that I do not always retain all of those things and I'm left feeling a bit lost sometimes in her world. Because she does, in fact, create an entire world. Penny Reid does the same and it can be wonderful and I know people LOVE IT. There's just ups and downs to it for me. Its best to read Pippa's books in a burst and then wait for more to come out... at least that's how I feel about it.
