Cruel King: Special Edition Print by Rina Kent
5.0
➸ 5/5 stars!
The fact that Astrid and Levi aren’t real people should be a CRIME! They are literally my everything. This is my second Rina Kent book and I’ve got to say I was scared coming into it. Not many people talk about this book because in some cases it's not truly the first book in the series but I don't know how any other book in the series is supposed to top the story of these two. But I can’t wait to read the others to see how close they come to beating this one. I truly don’t have anything bad to say about this book. I loved everything about it from the main characters to the side characters to just the plot in general. Everything went smoothly and made for an amazing love story with two opposites who just so happened to attract each other.
One of my favorite parts in the book was when Levi talked about fate with Astrid and he told her:
Other quotes I enjoyed:
“You can’t run away from me, princess. I’ll catch you every time.”

Other quotes I enjoyed:
“Thank you for existing, my king.” He smiles. “Thank you for being mine, princess.”
“She knows I won’t be her prince charming, but she still wants me anyway. If anything, she wants me because I’m not.”
