If This is Love by Jewel E. Ann

Jewel E. Ann is an author known for her original plots and unique characters, so, I was really looking forward to seeing which direction she would take with this book. I found myself engrossed in the story until the very end. Although I had high hopes for an emotional second-chance romance, I was a bit disappointed in that aspect.

One of the reasons I struggled to fully connect with the characters was because their love didn't feel entirely genuine. While the author was able to keep me interested in their story, I didn't feel as invested in their relationship as I would have liked. Additionally, I wished the second half of the book had been longer to fully explore the characters' growth as a couple.

Furthermore, some of the scenes and circumstances in the book felt a bit over the top and didn't quite fit in with the overall story. However, despite these shortcomings, I still enjoyed this book.
