Inspired by the novella, Shattered Spirits by Cal Black https://app.thestorygraph.com/books/7068fbc4-cb33-42e8-a1e4-d9f47d09fbd9 this challenge will take you through worlds where nothing is what it seems. When I finished Shattered Spirits, I had one goal in mind— I needed more of this particular blend of genres.  I'm thrilled for anyone who decides to join me in this 2025 challenge—it was such a blast putting together these prompts!

Here is a little about what to expect—

The prompts begin with a sense of wonder and curiosity, before tension builds through danger and continues on with a sense of dread and otherworldly horrors. Don't forget about the bonus :)

Each prompt will bring you into a story where the lines between fantasy, science, and horror are blurred. You'll face unknown creatures, mind-bending technology, and worlds that get weirder the deeper you go. From haunted spaceships to cursed cities, this challenge is about exploring the unknown and surviving the chaos. And my favorite, an exploration of themes such as consequence and morality.
