Welcome to join the 2025 Diversity Book Bingo! As the name suggests, there is a Bingo Board to go along with this challenge, but you can participate however you want. The idea is to incorporate different kinds of diversity aspects into the prompts on the board, but the purpose is just to diversify our reading. Intersectionality is encouraged!

To get Bingo you need to:
1) Get Bingo on the Bingo Board (row or blackout, double up if you want)
2) Check 5/5 Diversity Rep / Own Voices
3) Check 6/6 Continents

For most prompts, you can choose to read works of fiction or nonfiction. All formats count. 

Since there is (hopefully) a lot of intersectionality, the prompts below go into one another, and one book might fit into lots of them. That's just how it is! Still, I thought it might be good to gather the books somewhere, so here we are.

Note 1: Own Voices in encouraged, when that information is readily available, but representation along with some critical thinking counts too. You decide how strict you want to be. Participation over Perfection!
 
Note 2: If you find any of the themes too uncomfortable, feel free to swap them out for another one (e.g. History, Economy, Politics, Race, Religion, Health, Science, Technology, Psychology, Climate change, Ageism, etc.)

Note 3: Some prompts are grouped together on this list to save some space. (Second hand, Library, Backlist) and (For another reading event, Prompt from someone's list).
