This challenge is for readers who read fantasy novels who want to read more diverse books in the genre.

There will be a mix of prompts focused on who the characters are, and who the authors are. All books must fit the fantasy genre (i.e. have the fantasy tag), but can have additional genres (for example, historical fantasy is fine, but not a general historical novel).

You are welcome to use the same book for multiple prompts, or challenge yourself further and pick a new book per prompt.

There are twelve prompts in total, one for each month, with a few bonus prompts for those who want the extra challenge.
