Overview

A one a month relaxed challenge based on some of my favorite Pokemon in the Paldea region. Could be done in one month as well or however you choose to partake.

If you choose to post on instagram, the hashtag is: #paldeareadingjourney

Challenge Prompts

1. Sprigatito - 3 book poll pick. (7 added)

This prompt was chosen as Sprigatito is a starter Pokemon and you always have to choose between three. Just come up with any three books and read the winner after a poll, by friends or online. However you choose to.

2. Fuecoco - Favorite trope. (7 added)

Once again, Fuecoco is a starter Pokemon, and many usually go with their favorite type of the three, hence a favorite trope.

4. Greavard - Pet pick. (5 added)

Because Greavard is a very loyal and loving dog based Pokemon, this prompt is a pet pick, using treats for your loyal friend to choose. However, if you don't have a pet, just choose a book with a pet you'd like to have on the cover.

5. Paldean Wooper - A sequel. (13 added)

Since this Wooper is a regional variant, it is kind of like a sequel to the original Wooper. It could even be a 4th book in a series, just as long as there's a book previous to it.

6. Bramblin - Features ghosts. (7 added)

Bramblin is a ghost type Pokemon and I love books featuring ghosts!

7. Nacli - Start a new series. (9 added)

Nacli is a new Pokemon with two evolutions, so, like leveling up Nacli, we're starting a series with this prompt.

8. Klawf - 2023 new release. (8 added)

Klawf is a brand new Pokemon to this region, so we are going with a 2023 new release.

9. Toedscool - Forest setting. (7 added)

Toedscool are found in forests/around trees, so we're hunting one down in the forest with this prompt.

10. Ceruledge - Buddy read. (9 added)

Ceruledge and Armarouge are only available to get in the Pokedex together through trading, as they are version exclusives, so this prompt is a read with a friend! Could be a buddy read, a readalong, or a book club pick.
