Hello and welcome to the LMS Lesbian Lit Readathon!
This is the second annual one run by me. I had a lot of fun hosting it last year, so I thought I’d do it again this year!
This will run for the whole month of April, which includes 2 very important lesbian dates – the 5th, which is my birthday, and the 26th, which is Lesbian Visibility Day.
The point of this readathon is to read as many books with visible lesbian main characters as possible.
For clarification, a main character is: the protagonist, the person whose point of view is telling the story (whether 1st or 3rd person). And it is NOT someone who is just predominately in the story (like a sibling, friend, or love interest). In addition, the word “lesbian” must be explicitly stated in the text for it to count as a visible lesbian MC.
There is a bingo card in this carousel, and I am happy to send it to you via DM if you want a blank one.
The best part? There are TWO massive giveaways I am doing with this. The first person to complete their *entire* bingo card will get AUD$100 worth of books from either amazon or Blackwell’s from me.
The second will be AUD$50 worth of books from amazon or Blackwell’s and will go to anyone who gets at least one bingo before the end of the month. This will go into a hat for me to draw from.
And if you participate in my photo challenge (which is going up soon!), each post is counted as one entry into that giveaway. So I’m doing $180 worth of giveaways in April alone. Heck I am going to be broke!
As always – you need to be following me to win, and don’t follow to unfollow, you’ll be excluded from future giveaways.
Rest assured, I will be providing as many lesbian book recommendations in the following weeks as I possibly can – this way there will be plenty of time to organise TBRs and library holds.
If you have any questions, feel free to DM me or comment, and I’ll do my best to answer.
With that all said: what is one lesbian book on your TBR? Full title and author, please and thank you.
