Here's one takeaway I have from this book: if you feel like you're quitting too early when pursuing a project, you're often quitting on time.

I highly recommend this fantastic book. Dr. Duke’s book is exceptionally thorough and grounded in research. She possesses the admirable ability to present complex information in an accessible, engaging, and memorable manner. I wholeheartedly recommend this book to everyone; those who implement its insights in business, education, or personal life will find it immensely beneficial.

This was truly an interesting read. I learned a few things and it was jammed packed full of references and backed with research. However, this book makes you think and for me it took a long time to read. Definitely a book I would  recommend for all entrepreneurs and anyone who may be facing a crossroads in life.

I saw Annie Duke speak earlier this year and was excited to get her book. She weaves stories, empirical studies, and her own framework of quitting. Each chapter ends with key takeaways, which is great for remembering the lessons.

Surprisingly insightful! Annie highlighted common bias regarding quit, and show how much of these bias depend on context. For example, people prefer not to quit since they dont want to stay with their 'what if', but somehow they just want to quit so badly once they are positive since they are so scared to lose it. Very fun to read and see these subtleties, especially the aspect that the behavior when buying stock is so different from selling stock due to these biases.

Probably the best self-help book I've ever read.
