This book deals with messy family relationships, and these are portrayed well throughout the book. I found it hard to like a lot of the characters as they just did not communicate with each other which frustrates me.

Slow start but once the
allegations of the affair between Chris and Jenny comes about, the whole thing picks up speed. Clara and Miller’s relationship is reflective of teen romance and is lovely to follow.

 This book was so good!

There were so many terrible things that happened that I couldn’t help but feel for the characters.

Miller was so precious. I LOVED him so much! His relationship with Clara was so cute. The videos at the end were great. Miller’s grandpa was hilarious, and their relationship was so wholesome.

The tension between Morgan and Jonah was great. I can’t believe the situation that Jenny and Chris put them in. The drama and family dynamics were so good. I loved to see the character growth.

This book was hopeful and heart-breaking. This is one of my favorite books of the year.

I didn't love this book, but I also didn't dislike it too much. I found the teenage daughter to be wildly unlikable, although I fully understand her processing her grief was the reason for her actions. I found the mom to be more or less a pushover in the way she handles the entire situation that occurs early on. I don't know, initially I was intrigued by the plot twist, but unfortunately I was bored more often than not afterwards.
