This was my first poetry anthology, and my first time returning to haiku. I'm not sure if a book format of haiku really serves the art form, as each is so short and unique. There were a few poems that I really liked and that stood out, and I did like the sections that were seasonally themed. I think in the future I will be looking for a more cohesive connection between the poems in a collection or anthology. I also think that the tonal differences between different authors stopped my reading flow. This collection did however inspire me to try writing my own haiku! I would recommend this to othera living in my area who already are interested in haiku.
